MLB Player Props Computer Picks
Player props are a popular way to bet. In this type of bet, you are betting on chosen players to do something in the game, such as over/under a certain number of strikeouts or to get a home run. The bet will win if the player achieves this, regardless of whether the players' team wins the game.

MLB predictions for a game can either pick the winner on the moneyline or to get a win through a specific score in that game. Some of the best odds out there come from MLB score predictions, as the odds get quite high to pick a specific score. Top Expert Tips on Using Our MLB Predictions
- Keep an eye on injury reports: Each team plays 162 games in the regular season alone. Injuries are bound to happen, as the Yankees found out with Aaron Judge's injury last year.
- Research head-to-head records: Certain teams are better against other teams, so look at head-to-head records for players, teams and managers. What's more, two teams in MLB play against each other plenty of times throughout the season.
- Research recent form: Is a team on a losing streak? A winning streak, perhaps? This will undoubtedly change things, and our MLB expert insights will help guide you through this.
- Be aware of who will be playing: With so many games going down each season, a head coach might change the team around. With this in mind, make sure to research who could play the next game.
- Keep and eye on the hectic MLB schedule: Teams will play very often. More games within a certain schedule could enhance injuries, force changes on the field, and overall, affect form.
MLB Season Predictions
The MLB season typically starts around March and runs through September. Each of the 30 teams plays 162 games in total during the regular season. The campaign then moves to the MLB Playoffs and eventually the World Series, which decides the overall winner of the season.
MLB Playoffs Predictions
As 40% of the 30 teams in MLB make it to the MLB games in the Playoffs, the MLB odds and MLB predictions for those ending up in the postseason change drastically throughout the year. However, right now, there are not that many surprises.
The Philadelphia Phillies are going for their division title as the best team in the National League right now. They are way ahead of the pack as we approach the midway stage of the season, with the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers likely to get into the Playoffs, too.
The likes of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees are all but guaranteed to get into the MLB Playoffs it seems, with very low odds to do so. Other franchises like the Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles should end up in the postseason too, and you can also get odds of -12000 just for the Cleveland Guardians to make it in.
What's more, it is tough to call on whether the Boston Red Sox make it, while the Texas Rangers are still looking a bit topsy-turvy since the World Series last year and look like thery will fail to progress.
In the long run, we don't see how anyone defeats the likes the Los Angeles Dodgers. They look way too good for everyone else this season after the capture of Shohei Ohtani. They are priced at +330 to win the World Series as of July 2024.

MLB Matchups and Locations
Split into the American League and the National League, there are a total of 30 MLB teams with 15 in either league. Let's take a quick look at each of these teams.
New York Yankees
As one of the most popular sports franchises in the world and arguably the most successful team in U.S sports, the New York Yankees has won the World Series 27 times and are usually one of the betting favorites on gameday. Aaron Judge is the team captain, and the Yankees play at the famous Yankee Stadium.
Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles is having a fantastic season with a great young core in place, and it looks as if it will battle the Yankees all season long for the American League trophy.
Toronto Blue Jays
It's been a terrible 2024 for the Toronto Blue Jays so far, and it is bottom of the American League East with very little hopes of getting further up the table. After a wild card berth in 2023 for the second year running, it's looking like being a bad season for the Jays.
Boston Red Sox
As one of the most popular sports franchises in the United States, the Boston Red Sox play in the AL East. However, after picking up some great wins in Spring Training and an opening day win over the Mariners, the Red Sox had a slow start to the 2024 and have not picked up any momentum since. Boston could well miss out on the Playoffs in 2024.
Tampa Bay Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays has never won the World Series, despite winning the AL East Division title four times since 2008. It is, however, one of the newest teams to MLB, having only joined the roster in 1998.
Cleveland Guardians
The Cleveland Guardians is arguably the best team in the AL Central in 2024 as it looks to break it's 104-year duck since last winning the World Series in 1920.
Kansas City Royals
The Kansas City Royals is having a great season in the AL Central Division after finishing in last place in the same league table last year. The Royals last won the World Series in 2015, and you can find it playing a home game at the Kauffman Stadium.
Minnesota Twins
Fans of the Minnesota Twins will be hopeful in getting in the Playoffs this season. The Twins are in second place in the AL Central table and we expect big things from them.
Detroit Tigers
The same cannot be said for the Detroit Tigers, however, who is struggling this season. The Tigers have won the World Series four times, with the last being in 1984. Detroit plays at Comerica Park.
Chicago White Sox
The Chicago White Sox has been perhaps the worst team this year so far. It plays its games at the Guaranteed Rate Field on the South Side of Chicago and has won the World Series three times, although it went almost 100 years without a championship win before getting a Series victory in 2005.
Seattle Mariners
It's been a great season for the Mariners, as it eyes up a win in the American League West and a finish above the Texas Rangers. The Mariners play at the T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington.
Texas Rangers
The Texas Rangers is the current World Series winner after winning the championship in 2023 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This was also the first time the Texas Rangers had won the World Series. However, they have struggled this season and look set to miss the Playoffs.
Oakland Athletics
The Oakland Athletics have won the World Series nine times and are one of the most famous MLB teams in the country. They are also one of the few teams based in California.
Houston Astros
The Houston Astros has one of the best rosters in 2024, and it has won two of the past 10 World Series championships, including one as recently as 2022.
Los Angeles Angels
After losing Shohei Ohtani to city rivals the Dodgers, the Los Angeles Angels struggled considerably in 2024 and are very unlikely to make the Playoffs. However, the Angels still have Mike Trout on their roster.
Philadelphia Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies are one of the favorites to win the World Series in 2024. They have been one of the best teams this year. They are well on course to finish ahead of the Atlanta Braves and win the National League Division, and we think they will do just that.
Atlanta Braves
With the legendary Ronald Acuna Jr. becoming the first player in MLB history to record a 40-70 last year, the Atlanta Braves is well up there once more to fight for the National League Division title in 2024.
Washington Nationals
The Washington Nationals' season has been topsy-turvy so far,and it is very unlikely that they make the Playoffs. The Nationals play their games at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
New York Mets
Based in New York, the New York Mets have not won the World Series since 1986 and are constantly in the shadows of their city rivals, the Yankees.
Three-time MLB All-Star team member, Pete Alonso, is one of the standout players for the Mets.
Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins continue to struggle in 2024, and a chance to make the Playoffs officially gone. Led by head coach Skip Schumaker, the Marlins play at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida.
Milwaukee Brewers
2024 has so far been one of the best years in recent history for the Milwaukee Brewers, and it is the clear favorite to finish in first place in the NL Central Division. It is yet to win a World Series title, but after winning NL Central Division titles in 2023 and 2021, it aims to do so again.
Chicago Cubs
As one of the top teams in the NL Central each year, the Chicago Cubs were expected to battle with the Brewers for the NL Central Division title in 2024. However they have struggled so far and are very unlikely to win the division.
Pittsburgh Pirates
Not much was expected of the the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2024, and it has lived up to that expectation. It will keep battling it out for a Playoffs spot, but it doesn't look likely.
Cincinnati Reds
After recruiting free agents like Elly De La Cruz, the Cincinnati Reds looked to make the Playoffs in 2023 but failed to do so. It's been a tough past three decades for Reds fans, and things don't seem to be easing up for them anytime soon.
St. Louis Cardinals
The St. Louis Cardinals were one of the dominant forces in MLB between the 1930s-1940s, but with only two World Series championship wins this century, it is once again struggling in 2024.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The favorite to win the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers, is undoubtedly the best team in 2024. The Dodgers play at the Dodger Stadium, and they have got even better this year with the addition of the AL MVP, Shohei Ohtani, who is once again campaigning for an MVP award with his excellent displays each game.
San Diego Padres
The San Diego Padres play in the National League West, and it still awaits a World Series title. It is another team based in California, playing its games at Petco Park.
Arizona Diamondbacks
Last year, the Arizona Diamondbacks lost in the World Series to the Texas Rangers. Right now it is very hard to predict whether or not the Arizona Diamondbacks will reach the Playoffs.
San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants make up the few franchises on this list based in California. It has won eight World Series titles and came into 2024 off the back of some struggles in 2023. It hasn't got much better this year, and getting into the Playoffs looks likely.
Colorado Rockies
The Colorado Rockies is one of the worst teams in 2024 right now and is extremely unlikely to get into the Playoffs. In fact, after a shocking 2023 season, we don't see how it does much better this time around.
