Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Clippers Predictions: Clippers on the ML

Plenty of betting action expected tonight in Game 4 of this series and Zachary Rainey has some betting ideas for you...
In the night game, we have the Los Angeles Clippers looking to tie the series at two.
On the other side, Utah Jazz star is playing as well as any player in these playoffs, averaging 37.3 points per game in the series. We saw his lowest scoring output over the weekend when he put up “just” 30. In the eyes of the Clippers, that 30 was a hell of a lot better than 37 or 45.
I’m not sure why it took so long to put Kawhi Leonard on Mitchell, but it’s seemed to work, as well as the Clippers putting Nicolas Matum into the starting lineup over Ivan Zubac. I think they’re just going to let Gobert get his off of offensive boards and lobs and try to attack them at a different angle.
That seemed to work in Game 3, as they scored 132 points and shot 52.8 percent from deep, including six from Paul George, five from Reggie Jackson, and four from Batum.
I think we see some regression by the Clippers, but I think they’ve figured something out with that tweak to the starting lineup and know what they have to do to get another win in this series.
Most of the contests this series have been close with the exception of LA’s Game 3 win, with Utah edging out the Clippers by six in Game 2 and three in Game 1. I think this game could come down to the wire, so I’m thinking about going moneyline in this one with Clippers –210.
I know the price might make you not want to take it and lean closer to the spread. If that’s the issue, I would suggest parlaying the Clippers ML with Batum over 1.5 3-point shots made tonight at +110.
At one point in the season, the Batum signing was looked at as a joke around the league, wondering what Batum could provide to a team trying to make a playoff run. But he’s shown he has plenty left in the tank as of late. If he’s going to keep getting north of 27 minutes per game, I like him to at least shoot his open shots when the ball is in a drive-and-kick situation.
Batum had two made 3-pointers in 20 minutes in Game 1, two in Game 2 in 27 minutes and four in 35 minutes in Game 3.
Parlaying the two selections should get you to around +200 odds.
I think the Clippers have a decent shot at pulling this series out if they can get a win tonight. They currently sit at around +150 to win the series, but will obviously move closer to even odds if they do indeed win. I’m going to jump on that +150 price while I can and would advise you to do the same if your book offers series prices.
