The Texas Rangers’ phenomenal postseason road showing will be put on the line again when they face the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday evening.

The Rangers are 9-0 on the road in the playoffs and another victory would put them in fantastic position to claim the MLB title. However, the resilient Diamondbacks have a penchant for battling back when needed, and the oddsmakers believe this result is a true coin flip.

The Diamondbacks are going to use bullpen arms throughout this contest, while the Rangers could also use many relievers in this matchup. Jonathan Gray was projected to start Game 4 for Texas but was needed for several innings in Game 3 after Max Scherzer left with back tightness.

The Diamondbacks are the slightest of favorites, and it’s the first time they have been favored in any of their 16 playoff games. Arizona has thrived as the underdog but should live up to the billing as the favorite, as the dormant bats in Game 3 will get going against the Rangers’ arms.

Diamondbacks vs. Rangers World Series Game 4 Betting Prediction

Corey Seager has been the best player in the World Series, which is why the Diamondbacks will open up with left-hander Joe Mantiply to face him in the first inning.

If Arizona can keep Seager at bay early on, it will be a big help. Adolis Garcia is the other Texas star but he left Game 3 with side tightness and is not in the starting lineup for Game 4.

Moreno is just 1-for-13 in the World Series, but he’s too good of a hitter to stay in that funk for too long. He will likely see some left-handers in this game because Texas will want them in the game against Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll, who immediately precede him in the lineup.

Moreno hit .352 with three homers and an OPS of .899 in 108 at-bats against lefties in the regular season, and a double or a pair of singles in this game would clear this number.

Moreno could very well get five at-bats in this game, as it could be a higher-scoring affair than most because of the lack of front-line starters, and I like that the over is the underdog play.
