NFL Mock Draft 4.0: Marvin Harrison, Jr. Lands with the Arizona Cardinals

The NFL draft begins on Thursday, so I racked my brain and came up with a great story idea in the meantime: a mock draft.
Someone else really should have thought of this.
It’s my fourth and final installment, which includes multiple first-round trades as teams slide up and down the draft board depending on needs.
1. Chicago Bears: QB Caleb Williams, USC
My mock draft is still perfect!
2. Washington Commanders: QB Jayden Daniels, LSU
I was going to go with Drake Maye here, but Daniels is up to a -400 betting favorite to be the No. 2 pick at DraftKings.
3. New England Patriots: QB Drake Maye, North Carolina
If Daniels goes 2, I think the Patriots will be happy to stand pat and take Maye. He is -300 to be the No. 3 overall selection at DraftKings.
4. Arizona Cardinals: WR Marvin Harrison, Jr., Ohio State
Harrison is a potentially generational prospect at a premium position and fills a major hole for Arizona. If the Vikings offer three first-rounders it could be considered, but in the end, I think GM Monti Ossenfort sticks at 4 and takes the best non-quarterback in the draft.
5. Minnesota Vikings (via Los Angeles Chargers): QB J.J. McCarthy, Michigan
Compensation: Nos. 11 and 23 overall, first-round pick in 2025
If Harrison is off the board, the Chargers should be willing to trade down, and the Vikings will be ready to come up for their guy.
6. New York Giants: WR Malik Nabers, LSU
If one of the four quarterbacks is still available here, the Giants may look closely or make a trade down. But in this scenario, they are all gone, and Nabers is the explosive piece they secure.
7. Tennessee Titans: OT Joe Alt, Notre Dame
This is a very natural pairing. The Titans want to protect second-year quarterback Will Levis as well as possible.
8. Atlanta Falcons: Edge Laiatu Latu, UCLA
Latu has pulled ahead of Dallas Turner in the odds to be the No. 8 pick. If Atlanta is good with the medical history, they can grab the most polished pass-rusher in the draft.
9. Chicago Bears: WR Rome Odunze, Washington
The Bears could consider someone like defensive tackle Byron Murphy or Dallas Turner, but the talent of Odunze is too good to pass up. He will be a great piece to grow alongside Caleb Williams. Odunze has +150 odds to be the No. 9 overall pick at BetMGM.
10. New York Jets: T Olu Fashanu, Penn State
The Jets are in win-now mode, but they could really use a standout pass protector for the future. Fashanu has seen his stock drop some but is still a very talented player that could go top-10.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (via Minnesota Vikings): OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State
The Chargers begin their roster overhaul by adding a building block offensive tackle for Justin Herbert.
12. Arizona Cardinals (via Denver Broncos): Edge Dallas Turner, Alabama
Compensation: Nos. 27 and 35 overall
All the talk has been about the Cardinals trading down from 4. But what if they trade up from 27?
Arizona has the ammunition to make a major move and land Turner, who many have called the best defensive prospect in the draft. If Latu goes No. 8, Turner could drop a bit, and the Cardinals could make an aggressive move to get a player who reminds many of Brian Burns.
Turner isn’t as polished as Latu or Will Anderson, but he’s a physical specimen who would have a year to grow before the Cardinals push for true competitiveness in 2025.
13. Philadelphia Eagles (via Las Vegas Raiders): CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo
Compensation: Nos. 22 and 53 overall
The Eagles still have a very good roster but the pass defense was a major weakness toward the end of the year and the cornerback group needs a youth infusion.
Every cover man is still on the board, so Philly makes a move to go up and get the No. 1 cornerback in Mitchell.
14. New Orleans Saints: OT J.C. Latham, Alabama
The Saints are widely expected to take an offensive lineman, and Latham is one of the most talented in the draft.
15. Indianapolis Colts: TE Brock Bowers, Georgia
Bowers could very well go No. 10 to the Jets. If not, the Colts may find some nice value here. Bowers has +260 odds to be drafted by the Colts or Bengals at FanDuel.
16. Seattle Seahawks: Edge Jared Verse, Florida State
Verse could go higher than this. If not, it’s good value for a Seahawks team that needs to add more talent on defense.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars: CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama
The Jaguars need to bolster their secondary, and Arnold would be a nice pick in the middle of the first round.
18. Cincinnati Bengals: T Troy Fautanu, Washington
I flirted with the idea of Brian Thomas, Jr. here as a Tee Higgins replacement, but Fatuanu fills a more immediate need on the offensive line.
19. Los Angeles Rams: DT Byron Murphy, Texas
Aaron Donald 2.0? The NFC West better hope not.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: G/C Graham Barton, Duke
There are some solid interior offensive linemen on the board and they could start going around this spot.
21. Miami Dolphins: T Amarius Mims, Georgia
It would be tempting for the Dolphins to add even more speed with Xavier Worthy, but in the end the more practical choice makes the most sense.
22. Las Vegas Raiders (via Philadelphia Eagles): QB Michael Penix, Jr., Washington
The Raiders make the smart move by trading down from 13 while still keeping in play their desired quarterback. Penix is a boom-or-bust prospect, and this pick is more palatable after adding the extra second-rounder from Philly.
23. Los Angeles Chargers (via Minnesota Vikings): WR Brian Thomas, Jr., LSU
This works out pretty well for the Chargers, who miss out on Nabers in the top-5 but still get a talented receiver from Baton Rouge later in the first round.
24. Dallas Cowboys: OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
The offensive tackle pool is dwindling, and Dallas doesn’t want to be left out in the cold.
25. Green Bay Packers: OT Jordan Morgan, Arizona
Some scouts question if Morgan will be a better long-term fit at tackle or guard. Either way, he could come in and help Green Bay quickly.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Edge Chop Robinson, Penn State
Bucs coach Todd Bowles is one of the most creative defensive minds in the NFL, and Robinson would be an intriguing chess piece. While some had him on the first-round bubble, Robinson has -650 odds to be drafted on Day 1 at DraftKings.
27. Denver Broncos (via Arizona Cardinals): CB Cooper DeJean, Iowa
The Broncos are the odds-on favorites to draft Bo Nix, per BetMGM, but can still play the percentages and wait until the second round. They instead grab a talented cornerback here to pair with Patrick Surtain.
28. Buffalo Bills: WR Adonai Mitchell, Texas
The Bills need some firepower on the outside. Mitchell, Xavier Worthy and Ladd McConkey are all potential options.
29. Detroit Lions: CB Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama
The Lions have a really solid roster but cornerback is a need. McKinstry’s stock has cooled a bit since the college season but is still projected to be a first-round pick.
30. Baltimore Ravens: DT Jer’Zhan Newton, Illinois
The Ravens have always been happy to fortify the trenches on both sides of the ball, and make a value play here.
31. San Francisco 49ers: DT Darius Robinson, Missouri
Another team that’s more than happy to keep adding pieces to its defensive line.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: WR Xavier Worthy, Texas
Hollywood Brown is on a one-year deal, and Worthy would be a sensible long-term replacement. Worthy has +270 odds to be drafted by either the Bills or Chiefs at FanDuel.
