Denmark vs. Belgium Predictions: Belgium to win again

The Christian Eriksen health situation will rightfully dominate the news ahead of Denmark's match with Belgium but Neil Monnery still has a couple of betting picks for you...
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Date: Thursday, June 17.
Kick Off Time: 12PM ET
TV: ESPN
In normal times I would find this a much easier game to preview but following the events of Saturday lunchtime in this stadium, it is hard to get a good grip of how the Danes will react.
What they witnessed and had to endure as they saw their teammate Christian Eriksen fighting for his life on the pitch was something that no-one should ever have to go through. The fact they then had to come back and finish off the game is just crazy. It can come as no surprise that they succumbed to a sucker punch from Finland and lost the game 1-0.
Whether the squad pull together and unite to play for Eriksen or they struggle to get their heads back in the game is something we just won’t know until we see them on the field of play.
As for Belgium, they started their Euro 2020 with a serene 3-0 win over Russia. They played this game with the trio of Axel Witsel, Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard all missing from the starting XI. All three are starters from the midfield when everyone is fit so just imagine how much better they will be when they all return.
All three are potentially ready to start this game but I would not be shocked at all if none of them made the starting XI as they slow played their return to the side. One player who will be missing is Timothy Castagne who suffered a tournament-ending victory in that opening game win.
Belgium are the better side. Top ranked in world football and even though this will be an emotional day for Denmark and their fans - betting wise I would have to go with Belgium to make it two wins from two.
Picks: I’m surprised Belgium are odds against here so I’m all over +115 on the Moneyline with Unibet at the time of writing. They are clearly the superior side and even without the question marks over how the Danish side will react - I would like Belgium to win the game.
Romelu Lukaku scored twice in their opening game and is +135 to score anytime in this game. Another bet I’m more than happy to play.
