Czech Republic vs. Denmark Picks: Expect some goal in this one

This Quarter-Final is clearly the most surprising of the bunch as neither side were fancied to make this stage back when the tournament started.
The Czech Republic surprised the Netherlands by beating them 2-0 in their Round of 16 game after the Oranje were forced down to ten men following the sending off of defender Matthijs De Ligt for a deliberate handball. Tomas Holes and Patrik Schick got the two second-half goals and the first of a couple of pretty big shocks went down.
Denmark on the other half romped home in the most one-sided game of the previous round. They looked out-matched in the first 10-15 minutes against Wales before a tactical change turned everything around and they absolutely cruised to a 4-0 victory.
If you are reading this then you’ll know all about what the Danes have been through in this tournament and you can’t help but be rooting for them to keep up this run. Christian Eriksen is recovering well according to all reports and the draw has opened up for them to carry this momentum forward for at least one more game.
The Danes are fairly heavy favorites on the Moneyline with +112 the best-price available. This is quite something when you consider they lost their first two games and had to win their final group match - and win it well - to make it through as a best-placed third place team.
I’m happy to take those odds as my initial skepticism that their momentum would fall flat once they left the cozy confines of Copenhagen evaporated rather rapidly as I saw them take Wales apart last Saturday. The managerial prowess of Kasper Hjulmand impressed when he adjusted the formation in the early minutes of that game which nullified the Welsh threat.
Both Teams to Score is a popular market and at +110 I’m willing to roll the dice. Czech striker Patrik Schick has scored in three of his four games and can cause Denmark defensive issues. Denmark has spread out their goals with three different players having hit the back of the net twice. Schick to score at any time at +275 with BetMGM is a play. I’ll take the over 2.5 goals as well at +140.
Picks: Denmark on the Moneyline at +112. Schick to score anytime at +275 and over 2.5 goals (+140) and BTTS at +110.
