How to place a Teaser Bet

Teasers are a popular bet for those who like to add a bit of value to their bet and like to create their own lines - rather than the one the Sportsbooks offer as standard.

To place a Teaser Bet, you log on and go to the match of your choice as per usual but then rather than just look at the top level of odds - usually the Moneyline, Spread and Total Points - you click on 'More Bets' or whatever the terminology that Sportsbook uses to offer extra markets to the bettor.

Once here look for the 'Alternate Lines' or 'Teaser' section and you'll see plenty of lines that the Sportsbook offers away from the top line on that match.

For example if a Green Bay Packers home game against the Chicago Bears has a line of Packers -3.5pts at -109 then if you think the Packers are going to win by a bigger margin - you can elongate the line you choose for a bigger potential payout. If you like the Packers by 6.5pts then you might get that line with a +150 price. If you think the Packers will win but think it'll be extremely close, you can always shrink the line as well for a lower value price. Packers 1.5pts may be -140.

Just clink on the line that you've chosen and set the dollar amount you wish you put down then simply place your bet. Placing teasers online is the easiest way to partake in teaser betting.
