Premier League Relegation Odds 2023/2024: Luton Town favourites for the drop

With attention turning to the new Premier League season and with it the fight for survival, relegation odds have now been released by main trusted betting sites.
We take a look at who is likely to be involved next season.
Luton: 2/5
The story behind Luton Town reaching the Premier League is truly remarkable. In 2014, The Hatters found themselves playing non-league football, but four promotions later they will now be plying their trade against the best in the English pyramid.
At 2/5, bookmakers have made Luton the favourites to suffer relegation in the 2023/2024 campaign. Those odds imply a 71% chance that Rob Edwards’ side will drop back down to the Championship after just one season in the top-flight.
Sheffield United: 10/11
Sheffield United were also promoted from the Championship in 22/23 after finishing second in the league table.
The Blades managed two seasons in the Premier League after their promotion in 2019 and will be looking to remain there a little longer this time around.
Punters looking to back them for an immediate return to the second tier can grab themselves 10/11 with most firms.
Bournemouth: 2/1
It was no surprise to hear certain pundits mention Gary O’Neil when discussing their potential manager of the 2022/23 season.
The Cherries finished 15th under his stewardship after being the odds-on favourites to suffer relegation before a ball was kicked.
This time round, Bournemouth are longer odds at 2/1 on show to face the drop.
Burnley: 21/10
Vincent Kompany’s Burnley amassed a stunning 101 points on their way to Championship glory last term.
The Clarets lifted the title at a canter and with their manager signing a new contract, they will be hopeful that he can build something special in East Lancashire.
None of the promoted sides were relegated in 22/23, with odds of 21/10 available for Burnley to break that trend next season.
Nottingham Forest - 11/4
A large reason behind Nottingham Forest’s survival last season was their form on home soil.
Steve Cooper’s side possessed the worst away record in the division with just one win on the road and must improve on their travels if they are not to be involved in another scrap.
The Tricky Trees are 11/4 to taste relegation in 2023/2024.
Everton: 7/2
The Toffees left it until the last day of the season to ensure their top-flight status. A 1-0 win over Bournemouth was enough to see them over the line, but drastic improvement is needed if they are to avoid another massively underwhelming campaign.
Bookmakers go 7/2 for Everton to finish in the bottom three, after being a tad longer at 5/1 the season prior.
Fulham: 7/2
Marco Silva is another manager who deserves plenty of kudos for what he achieved last season.
Fulham finished 10th in the table, a whopping eight points ahead of West London rivals Chelsea.
The Cottagers made some impressive signings last season, such as Joao Palinha, and if they get things right again this summer, the 7/2 available for relegation could look a rather short price.
Others
Following those sides in the market, we have Wolves who can be backed at 5/1. Crystal Palace come next at 8/1, while Brentford are the only other single-figure-priced side at 9/1.
We then have a bit of a jump to West Ham at 20/1, with Aston Villa on offer at 33/1. You can find the full market with odds from various bookmakers below.
