BettingOdds.com's ref watch treble
So that's all of the appointments for Gameweek 14! There are some appealing games on show but Tottenham v Leicester on Sunday is undoubtedly the highlight, and we've picked out a card-based treble you might want to get behind which pays 4/1 with bet365.
Mike Dean, Southampton v Man City - Over 1 card for Saints @ 5/6
We all know how much Mike Dean loves dishing out the cards, don't we? The man-in-the-middle from the Wirral has made a career out of hogging the spotlight and this season it's been no different, with Dean brandishing 33 yellows and one red in his 9 appearances, alongside awarding 3 penalties.
This weekend he's in charge of Southampton's clash against Man City at St Mary's, and I'm backing the hosts to pick up at least two cards. With players like Oriol Romeu (4 yellows so far) and Kyle Walker-Peters (3 yellows so far) in action up against players like Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne, I can see the in-form hosts making plenty of firm challenges to ruffle the feathers of Pep's out-of-sorts title-hopefuls.
Man Utd v Leeds, Anthony Taylor - Over 1 card for Leeds @ 1/2
Manchester United and Leeds are fierce rivals but haven't faced each other in the Premier League in over 15 years, so expect a feisty game when the northern powerhouses meet at Old Trafford this weekend. My play is Leeds to pick up two or more cards here; they've got so many tough tacklers in their side (the likes of Stuart Dallas, Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich) who will all be desperate to leave their stamp on their United counterparts.
Alongside all this, Anthony Taylor is the man who takes charge of this match and he is a referee who is never shy to get the cards out. The Cheshire-based official has given out 24 yellows, 2 reds and awarded 6 penalties in 20/21, and I envisage him to be kept extremely busy in this age-old rivalry.
Chris Kavanagh, Chelsea v West Ham - Over 3 match cards @ 5/6
Finally to round off this 4/1 treble I'm getting behind over 3 match cards (between both teams) in Chelsea's London derby clash with West Ham on Monday night. The players should be fired up for this one given the history of the tie and the man in charge is Chris Kavanagh, who has given out 27 yellow cards so far and sits among the top-five ref's for bookings awarded.
