Hungary v Portugal Tips: Ronaldo and Co to get off to a quick start

Group F gets underway on Tuesday, with Hungary playing Portugal in Budapest (Hungary) at 20:00 to close out the round 1 matches for Euro2020. The current holders, Portugal, will be looking to take all three points on Tuesday, with the fact they still have Germany and France left to play, both incredibly tough matches. Hungary however will be no pushovers as they managed to shrug aside both Bulgaria and Iceland in order to qualify for Euro2020. The loss of their star man Dominik Szoboszlai through injury is a huge blow for Hungary, being their brightest spark in the final third.
Hungary possible starting lineup:
Gulacsi; Fiola, Orban, Attila Szalai; Lovrencsics, Kleinheisler, Nagy, Schafer, Holender; Sallai, Adam Szalai
Portugal possible starting lineup:
PatrIcio; Semedo, Dias, Pepe, Guerreiro; Danilo, W Carvalho, Fernandes; Bernardo, Ronaldo, Jota
Hungary v Portugal Tips
The Hungarian centre back is a good passer of the ball and has some very high numbers in world cup qualifying, managing to hit 100+ against the likes of San Marino and Andorra. These numbers do drop massively when playing a team of a decent standard.
In the Nations League he played 5 games and went under 53.5 passes against Russia, Serbia and Turkey. Portugal are a class above these sides and in a game I fully expect them to dominate, I struggle to see him registering that many passes.
With the Liverpool winger looking set to start wide left on Tuesday night, he looks a huge price for an assist. A game that Portugal will set out to get all three points, I expect them to create lots of chances against a Hungary side who can leak goals.
Jota has registered three assists for Portugal in his last 12 appearances, only starting seven of those 12 matches. Bruno is priced at 6/4 and Ronaldo at 7/2 to register an assist, but with those two lurking in the box, I see massive value in siding with Jota.
Portugals attack of Ronaldo, Jota and Bruno just screams shots, all of them love to have a pop. The line Bet365 are offering of over 13.5 looks rather generous. With so many shots, this often leads to goal kicks. If Portugal are to clear this shot line, I would expect the goal kick line to land too, which gives us value straight away. A game Portugal will set out to win, I expect them to start fast which lead me to include Portugal half time full time in the longshot and boost it with the Jota assist to give us an appealing 28/1.
