Football Accumulator Tips: Bruno to pick up a yellow card in Burnley

There are three Premier League games taking place on Tuesday evening and we’ve asked our resident tipster @AnthonyEadson to provide us with his best bets for the evening's action. Two selections have caught his eye on Tuesday with the double now paying 20/1 thanks to a little boost from the good folk over at Paddy Power. Both my plays on Tuesday evening come from Turf Moor where Burnley take on Manchester United. The main pick comes in the form of Bruno Fernandes to be carded and despite him being a slight doubt for the game I think we will see him from the off after Ralf Rangnick said the Portuguese midfielder should be okay to play when making his press conference on Monday.
Bet365 go 4/1 about Bruno picking up a card against Burnley which I think looks a really good price, with others such as Bet Victor taking a much more conservative approach at 9/4. In total, Fernandes has picked up six yellow cards in the league this campaign in 20 appearances. Furthermore, five of his six yellows have come away from Old Trafford in 2021/2022 and one of those came from a certain Mike Dean who takes the whistle for this game.
Of the 19 officials to take control of Premier League games last season, Mike Dean ranked 3rd for yellow cards, with an average of 3.64 per game, whilst also dishing out twice as many reds as any other ref. This term Dean has averaged 3.33 yellows per game and when Manchester United travelled to Wolves early in the season, Dean was the man in charge and booked Bruno Fernandes.
One of the most petulant players in the division in my opinion, Fernandes loves a good whinge and it was his moaning that caused Mike Dean to book him back in August. With five yellow cards in 11 away matches this season, I think there’s a lot more to like about this 4/1 poke than initially meets the eye.
Besides my main play of Bruno Fernandes to be carded, I’ll also be doubling him up with Josh Brownhill to find his way into Mike Dean’s notebook. Paddy Power have given us 20/1 about the pair being carded on Tuesday with other firms such as BetVictor going much shorter at 21/2 on the same bet.
Burnley’s Josh Brownhill should return to the side in central midfield after serving a suspension for collecting five yellow cards this season. Those five cautions have come in just 14 starts and with United now having Paul Pogba back in their side I fancy Brownhill to have a good battle with the Frenchman.
Paddy Power have 20/1 available on the double for both Brownhill and Fernandes to be carded. Best of luck to anyone following the selections.
